Qualifications

I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and have successfully completed the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) Certificate of Proficiency. In 2024 I became an accredited member of the BACP.

I have also gained a further diploma in counselling children and young people which involves a very different way of working, but has helped me broaden my knowledge of therapeutic techniques which can be used across all ages. I am qualified to offer couple and relationship counselling.

I have worked in the voluntary sector over many years, and endeavour to offer help to as broad a spectrum of those in need as I can.

I have absolutely no artistic talent, but I have previously run a 15 week art in therapy course; this was a real eye opener for me, and I now enjoy using various simple creative techniques in my work, but only if it’s something you’d be comfortable with doing too.
